cozy vibes & good breakfast
Enjoyed a warm fire in the pub on a cold day in November. The staff were super friendly. Pub food was decent, but my room felt a bit worn out. Breakfast was def a highlight, loved the full cooked options. Good value overall!

Homely atmosphere and great pub food
The breakfast was generous with delicious options, and the spacious double room was comfortable. The outdated décor in the room could use a refreshing update.

Chill pub vibes, but meh rooms
The pub was really fun! Super cozy, we had dinner and shot some pool. Rooms? Not great. They felt dated with old beds and worn-out linens. The breakfast was solid, though. Just wish the sleep situation was better. Seriously, they gotta update those beds!

missingWrote a review on 08 Junfriendly atmospheretasty foodpoor servicehigh priceslow value
A previously enjoyable experience was marred this time by a noticeable decline in service and hospitality, especially after the departure of a beloved barmaid. While the delicious marmalade remained a highlight, the increase in food prices without a corresponding rise in quality was disappointing. Given this decline, the choice to seek accommodations elsewhere feels justified.

Perfect for family bonding
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and they also extended the usual breakfast time to accommodate us which was a nice touch made our mornings much easier
It wasn't exactly cheap but still okay considering the great atmosphere

The atmosphere in the bar was good, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. While the room was quite outdated and in need of some TLC, the food was excellent and made up for any shortcomings. A cozy experience with some charm.
